APH and 7 Vietnamese stocks added to FTSE Frontier Index in third-quarter review

There are 8 Vietnamese stocks, including THD, KDH, DGC, BWE, APH, DHC, DGW, FTS that have been added to the FTSE Frontier Index in this review period.

On 3rd September, FTSE Russell announced the quarterly list of the FTSE Frontier Index. Accordingly, 8 Vietnamese stocks, including THD, KDH, DGC, BWE, APH, DHC, DGW, FTS were added to the FTSE Frontier Index this quarterly review period.

Compared to the previously published data on 1st September, the information published on 3rd September has changed slightly as GVR has been removed from the FTSE Frontier Index.

On the other hand, there were no Vietnamese stocks excluded from the FTSE Frontier Index in this restructuring period.

The change in the FTSE Frontier Index is remarkable as a number of funds actively invest in the frontier using this index as a reference. In addition, the FTSE Vietnam 30 Index – the reference index of the Fubon FTSE Vietnam ETF (approximately USD 485 million) will be based on the FTSE Frontier Index to select the 30 stocks with the largest market capitalization to include in the portfolio.

Also on 3rd September, FTSE Russell added two new stocks, KDH and VCI, to the FTSE Vietnam Index in the review of the third quarter of 2021.

FTSE Vietnam ETF (using reference FTSE Vietnam Index) with a size of more than USD 440 million will complete the review on September 17, 2021.
