On the morning of October 18, at An Phat Bioplastics located in the An Dong Industrial Cluster (Nam Sach – Hai Duong), a preliminary fire prevention, firefighting, and rescue drill on a provincial scale took place, involving the participation of multiple forces.
An Phat Bioplastics, a member of An Phat Holdings, is honored to have been chosen by the leaders of the Hai Duong Provincial People’s Committee and Hai Duong Provincial Police as the location for the provincial fire prevention, firefighting, and rescue drills, including the preliminary drill (October 18), the full rehearsal (October 22), and the main exercise (October 24).
An Phat Bioplastics is well-known as a major enterprise in the province, setting a strong example and leading the way with its advanced fire prevention infrastructure, ensuring the necessary preparedness to address fire hazards within the industrial zone.
Today’s preliminary drill was honored to have the participation and direction of Colonel Pham Chi Hieu – Deputy Director of the Provincial Police and Standing Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for the 2024 Firefighting and Rescue Drill; Lieutenant Colonel Cao Xuan Thanh – Deputy Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command; Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Lan Anh – Head of the Political and Party Affairs Division of the Provincial Police, along with many officers from various departments, agencies, armed forces, and the fire prevention, firefighting, and rescue police forces of Hai Duong Province.
From An Phat Holdings and An Phat Bioplastics, the event was attended by leaders of the Group and its subsidiaries, along with many employees who directly coordinated the preliminary drill.
At the preliminary drill, a total force of over 600 people participated, along with more than 70 vehicles, including command vehicles, firefighting trucks, rescue vehicles, firefighting robots, and other specialized and operational equipment.
With synchronized and coordinated efforts between the professional firefighting forces and the on-site team, the simulated fire was successfully extinguished, all victims were safely evacuated, and maximum protection and relocation of assets were ensured.
Following the preliminary drill, the participating units and forces held a review meeting to assess and adjust any areas that needed improvement. They also toured the production activities at factories under An Phat Holdings.
The organization of the preliminary, full-scale, and main firefighting and rescue drills at the An Phat Bioplastics factory holds great significance, serving as a model for fire safety in industrial parks with large workforces. It helps the company enhance its preparedness and ability to respond effectively, minimizing potential damage to people and property caused by fires.
